This page outlines the licensing terms for accessing and using the Sendit platform, as well as our required attributions to the open-source community whose work helps power our infrastructure.
1. Sendit Proprietary License
Sendit is a commercial Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. When you subscribe to our services, Sendit Inc. grants you a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Sendit webmail interface, API, and admin dashboard for your internal business or personal communication purposes.
Under this license, you may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Sendit platform or APIs.
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our UI/UX, codebase, or branding.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Sendit service without an explicit partnership or reseller agreement.
- Use the platform to build a direct competitor to Sendit.
All intellectual property rights, titles, and interests in the Sendit platform belong exclusively to Sendit Inc.
2. Your Content License
You retain all intellectual property rights to the data, emails, and attachments you transmit through Sendit. By using our platform, you grant us a strictly limited, automated license to process, route, and temporarily store this data solely for the purpose of delivering your messages and providing the webmail service to you. We do not license your data for advertising, training AI models, or third-party analytics.
3. Open Source Attributions
Sendit is built by developers, for developers. We proudly stand on the shoulders of giants. Below are the major open-source projects that power our application, along with their respective licenses:
